WHAT IS ESIA CONSULTING?
An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
(ESIA) evaluates the potential effects of a proposed project on the surrounding environment air, water, land, ecology, and local communities. It is a statutory requirement under the EIA
Notification, 2006 (MoEFCC) for a wide range of project categories including mining, ports,
highways, industrial facilities, coastal infrastructure, and real estate.
Getting the assessment right matters beyond compliance. An incomplete or technically weak
EIA is one of the most common reasons projects face delays at the clearance stage. eGreen
prepares reports that are technically rigorous, site specific, and structured to satisfy the scrutiny
of the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) and State Level Environment Impact Assessment
Authorities (SEIAAs).
OUR APPROACH
- Site Assessment: Baseline data collection and site characterisation. Air, water, soil, noise, and ecological baseline surveys.
- Impact Modelling: AERMOD for air quality, MIKE 21 and HEC-RAS for coastal and flood scenarios, GIS for spatial analysis. Model outputs are used to quantify impacts accurately.
- Report Preparation: Structured in compliance with MoEFCC EIA Notification 2006 and CRZ Notification 2011. Prepared by domain experts, reviewed for completeness before submission.
- Regulatory Submission: We support the submission process, prepare responses to queries from the EAC or SEIAA, and stay engaged through the clearance hearing.
- Post Clearance Support: Environmental Management Plan implementation, compliance monitoring, and periodic reporting as required under clearance conditions.
